About Ben
Ben’s career combines editorial leadership, product development and community strategy, giving him practical experience in launching reader revenue products and paywalls, refining subscription journeys, and embedding data and insight workflows in newsrooms. At FT Strategies, he partners with publishers to shape and deliver digital growth plans, steer change initiatives and build more audience-centric cultures.
In addition to his consulting role, Ben founded and edits Everything in Moderation, a weekly newsletter focused on content moderation, online safety and platform governance. He has spent over a decade working in and alongside newsrooms to strengthen audience engagement, community management and online safety practices. Recognised for his pragmatic, coaching-focused approach, he helps teams turn high-level strategy into day-to-day editorial and product decisions.
