About Yuta
Yuta is a Senior Consultant at FT Strategies, where he advises news organisations globally on subscription growth, data strategy, audience development, B2B subscription innovation, AI adoption, and operational optimisation. He has supported more than 50 publishers across EMEA, APAC, and the US, helping them design sustainable digital strategies and improve long-term financial resilience.
Before joining FT Strategies, Yuta worked at the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), specialising in research on corporate digital transformation to identify best practices and guide organisations through technological and organisational change. He also collaborated closely with government officials and international businesses on trade and investment agreements, supporting companies expanding into overseas markets.
Yuta also serves as the Japan Associate Director at Kizuna Across Cultures (KAC), a non-profit organisation that delivers cultural and language exchange programmes for Japanese and American high school students. In this role, he plans and manages virtual and in-person programmes that help develop the next generation of globally minded leaders.
