Director

Lisa has over 25 years of experience in print-to-digital transformation, most notably at the Financial Times where she led newsroom operations, was an Assistant Editor and Managing Editor, Associate Editor and Head of Operations for FT.com. She led group-wide digital transformation projects at both of South Africa’s biggest publishers, Tiso Blackstar (now Arena Holdings) and Naspers’s 24.com.

Lisa is a former Vice President of the World Association of News Publishers, advisor and coach with Women in News, a board member of the World Editors Forum, Leader in Residence at the University of Lancashire and Chair of the advisory board of the Journalism Innovation Leaders faculty.

At FT Strategies, Lamberto leads work on reader-first models, next-generation audience preferences and newsroom transformation. He has overseen major industry studies, including Next Gen News and the News Sustainability Project, and works with publishers across EMEA and APAC to turn insight into growth strategies that reshape content, culture and operating models.

Before joining FT Strategies, Lamberto was a Research Analyst at Enders Analysis, where he analysed the press section, including platform dynamics and media regulation. He holds a degree in Media & Communication Governance from the London School of Economics and speaks three languages fluently - English, Italian, and French.

At FT Strategies, Chloe works with organisations around the world to grow recurring revenue, strengthen engagement and develop customer-centric digital products. She draws on experience in content and UX design, journey mapping and newsroom workflows to help clients translate complex challenges into clear strategies, intuitive experiences and accessible content. Her consulting work is underpinned by strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, as well as a deep understanding of how news organisations operate.

Before joining FT Strategies, Chloe was a Consultant at Deloitte Digital, where she contributed to large-scale digital transformation programmes for public sector and financial services clients, using insight from user research and data to improve products and services. Earlier in her career, she worked at NBC News as Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Newsgathering and later as an Assignment Editor on the national breaking news desk, after starting out as a News Associate. Chloe holds a BA from Yale University and an MSc from the University of Oxford. She is known for her collaborative style, meticulous approach to writing and editing, and her ability to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives.

He previously worked on the Audience Diversity Academy to help six EMEA publishers diversify their audience and build engagement among target segments. Prior to joining FT Strategies, Ben was an independent newsroom and content strategy consultant. He has ten years of experience in newsroom transformation and audience development from his time working at The Guardian and The Times.
